Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some frequently asked questions . If you have any questions which are not below please e-mail somsakbannok@yahoo.com
I am travelling on my own. Am I able to travel on one of your tours?
Normally, the minimum number of tourists on a tour is two. However, single travellers often find that there are other people who want to join a tour on the same dates, so please let us know when you want to travel and we will let you know how we can help you. If you would like a private tour arranged for you let us know your requirements and we can give you a price.
We have heard that sometimes groups are combined with other tours when too few people have booked.
We never combine our tours with those of other companies. (Very occasionally there may be other tourists from a different group in the same village as you.)
Will our guide change during the trip?
No. Your guide will stay with you for the whole time.
What qualifications do your guides have?
All our guides are Tourist Authority of Thailand registered and are either tribal people or have lived in a tribal village.
Is it advisable to bring children or people with walking difficulties on these trips?
Both children and people with walking difficulties can be accommodated on our trips, although we would recommend you take the options which do not involve walking between villages. Please indicate in the booking form the nature of any walking difficulties so we can make appropriate arrangements or, in rare cases, advise you that it would be inadvisable for a particular indvidual to join a tour.
We saw details of your tour after we had arrived in Thailand. How can we contact you?
Our offices are based in Chiang Rai,
you can telephone us on: + 66 53 737 425
or fax us on: + 66 53 737 616
If we want to stay in the area and visit some other attractions, can you help us make arrangements?
We would be happy to book hotel accommodation and other tours for you.
